Restoration timeline

2011 - bought the house and land.  Work cannot begin until after a lengthy legal struggle between the previous owners and the Sate who had put the house into into receivership.

Dismantled the roof and stored the original bi-coloured slate.  Temporary roof installed.

2012 - emergency renovation begins as two chimney walls begin to collapse.

2013 - site cleared, several tonnes of rubbleremoved.

7 tonne steel structure raised, to support the roof.  Bound with HeliBar steel rods.

Dismantled and rebuilt the supporting walls and chimneys

Permanent roof installed.  Lake dredged and refilled, landscaping begins.
